Each experience lasts for approx half an hour but you will have access to Colchester Zoo from 9.30am as the Zoo opens right up until the end of the day. Your souvenir pack is given at the end of your experience containing a number of items to remember your day!

NB Only open to aged 10 years and over. Anyone between the age of 10 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult during the experience who will go behind the scenes with them and must accompany them throughout the rest of their visit, under 10s may not take part in this experience.  The supervising adult must pay admission. For a reduced entry rate we recommend purchasing an E-ticket online in advance for a discounted rate to those sold at the gate on the day.

Please note that weekend dates for the Sloth Keeper Shadowing experience are fully booked until November 2019, limited weekdays are still available. Bookings are on a first come first served basis, we advise those with gift vouchers wishing to participate in this experience book their date as soon as possible.
