Action for the Wild is Colchester Zoo’s charity.  It was created in 1993 to assist conservation projects worldwide and now, as a registered charity supports 21 projects including its own, UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve in South Africa.

A donation of just £10 will be acknowledged with a certificate and will help buy pepper spray for field rangers protecting desperately endangered rhinos from poachers.  There are 20 projects that will benefit from the support of Colchester Zoo’s charity this year and you can help be a part of this vital work.

Help the UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve

A donation of £10 towards Action for the Wild’s own reserve in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa will fuel a truck to monitor species in the reserve.
