Back to Animals

The nature area has been designed to be a home for all of our friends. There are a number of “wildlife homes” such as bug hotels, bat boxes and bird nest boxes, to help encourage different species to inhabit and breed in the area.

The themed bird hide in the site can be split into two sections to form a general viewing area and a separate classroom for school talks and visitor activities when needed.  A pond dipping platform has been created, and we are now advertising pond dipping activities to schools.  Visitors will also get the chance to get involved to see what species live in our ponds during our special events.

Sorry, we currently don't have any animals in this enclosure.
