Everything you ever wanted to know about the Abbey of St Edmund, in just 45 minutes
Join us for a whirlwind tour of the Abbey, to find out when, how and why it was built – and why it now stands in ruins. This is a lunchtime tour, so feel free to bring your sandwiches. Step out of work and back into 1,000 years of history!
The Bitesize Abbey runs on Wednesdays, from April to October. Tours start on Angel Hill, opposite the Abbey Gate, at 1.00pm and last 45 minutes. Tours are in English and are suitable for all ages and abilities. Please let us know beforehand if you have any special access requirements. We regret that we cannot accept dogs (apart from assistance dogs) on our tours.
Adults £5.00, U-18s £3, U-5s free, Family of four (max 2 adults) £15.
